I read the article in the paper about needing funding for your groups, the article was very good and very informative, I hope that this will be the start of the funding that is needed to give everyone the stepping stone to a better life.

Pink Ladies are just getting themselves recognised and are now on the map !

I was asked by Maria and Sheila to do a talk to the group on Self Defense. The whole event was great and I genuinely feel I learned more than I was teaching.

When Ive done these talks in the past, ego from participants inevitably get in the way. However, the Pink Ladies are a vastly intelligent group of women, with huge amounts of life lessons.

I was asked a lot of very relevant questions and learned a lot about women's fears and experiences, to the point where I genuinely learned more about Self Defense considerations than I was teaching...plus I was almost knocked out by Sheila!!

I cant recommend the group, and the work that Maria and Sheila do, enough. I was made to feel very very welcome, and feel genuinely honoured to have been asked to give a talk on this subject.

These ladies are seriously amazing people, get along to the group and see for yourself.

Hopefull you can be an inspiration to some of our parents here at Positive Steps / Midlothian Sure Start. You might get some new recruits! keep up the good work pink ladies.
